(1) To understand horoscope matching you have to understand:
what is marriage?   and   What is successful marriage?

What is marriage?

You know well, After Marriage both should get mental and physical satisfaction, mutual happiness, mutual understanding, mutual Love, mutual Attraction, financial Growth, Social growth and progeny ability is Marriage.

What is successful marriage?

Successful Marriage is, After Marriage both have mutual understanding and they have mental and physical compatibility by which they get all satisfaction, mutual happiness, mutual Love, mutual Attraction, longevity, Good health, financial Growth, Social growth, good luck and the gift of healthy children.
A couple can only have a successful marriage, by marrying, after getting complete horoscope match.

(1) What is complete horoscope matching?

For any happy and successful marriage, match making according to the horoscopes of the bride and groom can prove to be extremely helpful. Now, it is a widely held belief that only the Ashtakoot Milan (Gun Milan) is sufficient for matching the horoscopes and deciding upon the marriage.

Unfortunately, this widely accepted procedure of match making is not at all enough for making a complete and absolute match.

In reality, it is very important to properly match all the Rashis (signs), Nakshatras and the nine planets of both the bride’s and the groom’s horoscopes by, composing manually all planets and Rashis of both horoscopes in one birth chart (kundali) than matching all planets, Rashis and Nakshatras with each other is the perfect and complete way of Horoscope matching.

And by this composing method it can also be matched, that the bad yogas formed by the planets of one horoscope get cancelled by meeting with the good yogas formed by the planets of second horoscope. and at the same time mutual love, mutual attraction, Good Health, Longevity, Good relations, increasing good luck and progeny, between the expected bride and groom were also present, Then the complete match is achieved.
The reason behind matching all the Rashis (signs), Nakshatras and the nine planets of both the bride’s and the groom’s horoscopes can be explained with a simple example. In Vedic astrology for female, Jupiter is the significance (Karak) of the husband and for male, Venus is the significance (Karak) of the wife. Furthermore, it is also considered in Vedic Astrology that Mars is male and Venus is female. Matching of Jupiter-Venus And Mars Venus gives Mutual Love, Mutual Attraction, Mutual Attraction and Happiness. Hence, in the collaboration of male female while match making, matching of Venus-Mars and Jupiter-Venus in both the bride’s and the groom’s horoscopes should be considered. In Gun Milan process for marriage matching only the birth nakshatra of the boy and girl is taken to calculate and match Both’s features and characteristics. (Birth Nakshatra is, At the birth time planet moon was placed in a nakshatra is called birth nakshatra. In Vedic astrology there are 27 Nakshatras)

This is not enough. And not a complete horoscope matching.

There are more things to be matched, like Rashis, planets and other nakshatras of both horoscopes should be matched with each other, this will be the complete kundali matching or horoscope matching for marriage.

(3) What is the procedure of Gun Milan?

Generally known Marriage matching process is Only Gun Milan, All the aspects of Gun Milan or AshtakootMilan(i.e. eight koots Varna Koot, Vashya Koot, Dinam Koot, Yoni Koot, Graha Maitri, Gana Koot, Rashi Koot, Nadi Koot) are done by matching only planet Moon, it’s Rashi and the Nakshatra in which the planet Moon is situated in the Birth Chart. It is very compulsory to match all planets, Rashis and Nakshatras of both Birth Charts with each other for a blissful married life. Which are totally missing in the Gun Milan method of matching.

Many people have lost their faith in Kundali Matching system of Gun Milan.

Because marriage only by gun Milan has given contradictive results in many couple lives. Couples with very good points of Gun Milan are having a disastrous married life, and couples with fewer points match in Gun Milan are living a blissful married life. Because, although they have fewer points match in Gun Milan but Complete Horoscope match is present in their horoscopes.

(4) What is Mangli Milan?

The Mangli Milan is also very compulsory in Kundali Matching. One thing here is to be noted if a boy/girl is Manglik their life partner must be Manglik only. For this the horoscope of Boy/Girl must get properly examined, nothing can cancel the Manglik Kundli, even the age above 28 years or any other planet cannot cancel the Manglik Yog in the horoscope. This is the observation of Jyotish acharya Pankaj Jain by his 25+ years of astrology practicing experience.

According to Vedic astrology, if planet mangal in the horoscope is in 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house the Boy/Girl is Mangli. It can be strong, medium, or light Mangli. But by anyhow, it cannot be considered the cancelation of this Manglik Dosh. The parents of a Manglik Boy/Girl have thought that only our child is Manglik and we cannot get a Manglik match for them. Or delay in fixing the marriage is because of Manglik dosh. This is absolutely wrong Belief.
Believe this, it is a fact that the ratio of Manglik boys/girls is more than non-Manglik boys/girls. If fixing the marriage of any Boy/Girl Manglik or Non-Manglik is getting delayed after seeing many proposals, then any remedy (Upay) has to be done by his/her horoscope. The Manglik dosh is not the reason for the delay in marriage. But strictly only Manglik Kundali for Manglik and, only Non-Manglik Kundali for Non-Manglik has to be considered for a marriage partner.
